Center Nathan MacKinnon was hobbled after blocking a shot in the second period Sunday, and the Stanley Cup-favorite Avalanche eventually fell to the Vegas Golden Knights 5-3 in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals, a series Colorado now trails 3-0.
