Editorial Standards

These are the rules every article on NewsWhite is written under. They exist because we publish analysis of other people's reporting, and that only works if we are precise about which is which.

Attribution

Where a fact came from someone else's reporting, the outlet that reported it is named in the article and linked from the page. We do not present another publication's work as our own, and we do not reproduce their article text.

Images

We do not use photographs belonging to the outlets we write about. Article images are either licensed stock or artwork generated by us. If you believe an image here infringes your rights, tell us and it will come down the same day.

AI assistance

Our analysis is drafted with AI assistance. We are direct about this because readers deserve to know how what they are reading was made. The process is bound by rules that it may not break:

It may not invent. No fabricated quotes, statistics, dates, names or events. Where a fact is not in the source material, the article works around it rather than filling the gap.

It may not report. It has no independent knowledge of events. Everything factual traces back to a named outlet.

It must separate analysis from fact.Reasoning is signalled as reasoning — “this suggests”, “the likely reading is” — and never dressed up as established fact.

What we will not publish

Medical, legal or financial advice. Content about private individuals. Anything designed to mislead about its own origin. Sponsored material presented as editorial — if we are ever paid to publish something, it will say so at the top.

Corrections

Errors are corrected on the page rather than quietly deleted, and material corrections are noted. Report one to contact@newswhite.com.
