What to watch for in the coming weeks is straightforward. Independent capacity and discharge testing will matter enormously, because manufacturer-rated watt-hour figures can diverge from real-world output depending on load profile, temperature, and the efficiency of the inverter circuitry. Pricing will be the second variable — density achievements mean little commercially if the Gen4 units land at a premium that pushes buyers back toward heavier competitors with acceptable capacity at lower cost.
